To celebrate Women’s History Month K3PR C.E.O Koshie Mills partners with the UCLA Fowler Museum as a media sponsor to support the African Print Fashion Now! exhibit in Los Angeles. African-Print Fashion Now! A Story of Taste, Globalization & Style provided a history of African-print cloth and its roots. In a time where African-prints has become mainstream, UCLA’s Fowler Museum explained how intricate and beautiful each style is.

Koshie Mills says, “I am honored to be recognized by Fowler Museum as an African community thought leader and influencer in the entertainment industry. Our goal is to share the rich history and origins of the Ankara cloth with as many people as possible in the Southern California region. Special thanks to Adebimpe Ogunnaike Efezokhae who knows my heart about supporting African history, culture, heritage and our creativity”.

The exhibit featured style from various well known fashion designers, such as Ituen Basi,  Gilles Toure, Dente de Man and Kyemah McEntyre.

African-print designs has become a staple in fashion that many guest in attendance showed off their own African-print inspired pieces.

The African-Print Fashion Now! A Story of Taste, Globalization & Style Exhibit will be able to viewed from March through the end of July. The exhibit also features portraits of African-prints throughout the 19th century.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde partners with Bono to bring Poverty is Sexist campaign to new heights in Africa

Client Omotola Jalade Ekeinde brings #PovertyIsSexist campaign to new heights with founding member of U2, Bono, as he joins the campaign to remix the song Strong Girl. Bono was welcomed with a host of activities beginning with a meeting with the civil society lead by Omotola, which included strong girl powerhouse’s Waje and Zimbabwean singer Selmor Mtukudzi .

Soon after, magic happened as Bono headed to the studio joined by Dbanj ,Bankyw, tanzania’s Diamond platinumz and cobhams. Press was in awe as they were met by Bono, Omotola, Dbanj, Waje, Selmor and Diamond Platinumz as they answered questions on the campaign moderated by One’s Dr sipho.

The festivities came to an end with an entertaining dinner reception attend by dignitaries and worldly talent including MI, Dj Jimmy Jatt, Gbemi Olateru- Olagbegi, Tayo Faniran of bba and CaptainE. Keeping focus on the campaign, Omotola reminded all who attend the importance of empowering women to end poverty and to join the other 2 million signatures that signed the petition to end poverty in Africa.
