He said “Getting over hurdles is the key to moving on to the next level in your career. Confront your shortcomings, having a plan is important; being consistent, believe in yourself or no one else will believe in you”.
Monty touched on a tough time in his life when he was homeless and how that didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream to be an actor. “Writing, stand up, creating skits and sheer perseverance with hard work are what got me through and into my moment”.
The students had a flurry of questions for the special guests and several students remarked , ”This has been so inspiring and is a sign for me to keep going for my dream to produce and act”. They took to social media to express their appreciation. Kofi and Monty were inspired and humbled by the kid’s response and will continue to make giving back a priority in their journey.
